Welcome Home! And more joyous news!

Well, today is an exciting day for a few reasons. Our Uncle Josh is flying into Mid Continent Airport in thirty minutes. Then, another special Josh to our family, Josh Cryer, is making his way home to America! Family and friends are meeting at the airport this afternoon. The girls have on their red, white, and blue. To bring more happy tears my way, our friend Ronda is finalizing their adoption process by being finger printed today. All these emotions are exhausting!
Just another busy week, but I thank Gor for each breath I take! Welcome home to your forever family Joshua Shen!

It's Official!

Congatulations are in order for the Cryer Family! Joshua Shen Cryer is their latest addition, and is such a blessing. Our Father in Heaven has great love for the fatherless, and so do Rusty and Lesli. It was amazing to see Lesli embrace those children with loving arms. Molly has also been following this process, she really has a thing for Mr. Rusty. The other day I was looking at their adoption blog, and Molly said, "Baby Joshua, heez in China. Rusty will drive him back home in the car so I can see him". I also had to explain that not all tears are sad ones, that Mommy can cry happy tears too! This has been such a neat experience to see this, I can't begin to imagine how the Cryers feel. I am looking forward to seeing the twins (Hannah and Hudson) faces when they meet their brother for the first time.

Speaking of firsts... Today, Macy sat in her "booster seat" for the first time. She is gabbing non-stop, I guess I shouldn't expect any different, she is my daughter. Also, Molly is regularly using the toilet now, and we so excited to only have one in diapers. Of course when she uses the restroom, it's "I do it all by myself", and there are times she doesn't call for her own personal bottom wipers (mommy and daddy)... Messy...

We've made it to blogspot

So, this is what it is like to blog.
I am learning as I go, for my blogging instructor (my friend Lesli), has flown to China to bring home the GOLD!!! No, she is not an Olympian... She and her husband are in the process of their first adoption... He is adorable, and I will have more details to come. How is that for anticipation? Please friends, be praying for the journey, and especially that precious boy!
As for news on the home front. Molly is potty training, and I am proud to announce that she went ten times yesterday (both #1 and #2). We celebrated with a red velvet cake, new hand soap, and lots of hugs and kisses. I love that I am able to be home to be a part of this. I told my mother-in-law, "I don't want to miss a tinkle!"
We also took her to the Wichita Children's theater to see the play Pinnochio, or as she calls him "Poky-o". It was an interactive play, and she chimed in many times. She loudy expressed her concern during one dramatic part of the show by saying, "What is going on here?" She makes us smile until our cheeks hurt...
My new adventure will be to learn how to post some "potty-pics"! Will add some of the Macy E. too. Can't wait to share them...
